COMPACT is always good for a surprise: For the first time in our almost 15-year history, we’ve published a US Edition with the cover story “Super!!! How Elon Musk Fights Tyranny in Europe”. It primarily features English translations of articles from our current German February issue, (“Super!!! Warum Elon Musk auf Deutschlands Zukunft setzt”).
However, there are significant differences: Articles with too much focus on German issues have been replaced by those that appeal to an international audience. And there’s an entirely new dossier: “The German President”. We have a look at Donald Trump’s family history, explore his German roots, and tell the amazing story of German emigrants in America.

German and American Patriots
Janich and Sellner already have given some reasons why we are now publishing a US Edition. We add: At least since Elon Musk’s support for the AfD (“Only AfD can save Germany”) and his splendid video message at the election kickoff with Alice Weidel, where he called on Germans not to practice a cult of guilt but to be proud of their country and nation, a new axis between patriots in America and Germany and Europe is evident.
Musk said:
“First of all, I wanted to really say that I’m very excited for the AfD, and I think you’re really the best hope for Germany. I think some things that are just very important are that people take pride in, Germany and being German. This is very important. You know, it’s okay to be proud to be German. This isda very important principle. It’s okay.”
He continues: “It’s good to be proud of German culture and German values and not to lose that in some sort of multiculturalism that dilutes everything.”
With our US Edition, we – the strongest voice of the German opposition – introduce ourselves to American and other English speaking readers.
